Carla Talbot

Originally from the UK, Carla moved to New Zealand in 2005 and began teaching dance in Warkworth in 2007. With years of experience and a deep passion for the art of dance, she founded Talbot Dance Academy (TDA) with a clear vision: to create a studio that feels like home while delivering outstanding technical training.

Carla is committed to providing excellent tuition that guides dancers toward achieving their individual goals. She maintains high expectations of her students, encouraging dedication, discipline, and pride in their progress. At the heart of TDA is her belief in nurturing strong, supportive relationships with her dancers — fostering confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of dance.

Through encouragement, structure, and genuine care, Carla strives to create an environment where every dancer feels valued, inspired, and confident.
